Research and Grant Administrator, Pre-Award- All levels open from Entry to Senior

Our client, a world-renowned hospital, and number one ranked hospital, serves patients from local communities and 160 countries around the world. You will be working in a fast-paced and collaborative research environment with faculty, staff and trainees using data and computing to transform healthcare. The office space is beautiful and located in the Longwood Medical area, accessible by the T.

The Research /Grant Administrator, Pre-Award will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in pre-award functions such as preparing grant applications to ensure conformity with relevant sponsor guidelines, regulations, and hospital policy. Coordinating collection of grant application materials and receipt of institutional reviews and approvals to ensure timely submissions.
  • Preparing financial transactions, such as employee travel and other reimbursements, approving purchase requisitions in accordance with sponsor and hospital policy.
  • Working with institutional central offices to troubleshoot and resolve matters.
  • Assisting in the review of financial reports to monitor grant expenses to ensure compliance with sponsored award terms/conditions. Assisting in preparing effort and financial reports.
  • Participating in timely grant/award renewal process and the orderly closeout of sponsored activities.
  • Attending institutional training to keep skills current and knowledge up-to-date on sponsor regulations, hospital policies and emerging technologies.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and strong coursework in finance.
