Pay rate: $72.00 - $92.00 per hour on 1099

Neomorph is looking for an experienced Project Manager to help ensure alignment of projects with the organization's strategic direction and building synergies between projects. Key responsibilities include leading assigned project teams of medium size, moderately complex projects independently by utilizing project management best practices. This role ensures schedules, financials, scope, and performance requirements of the project are met. It includes management and communication of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the biotech industry with extensive experience in project management.
Primary responsibilities:
Ensures successful management and coordination of efforts assigned to all members of the project team, including but not limited to Pre-clinical development, toxicology, DMPK, CMC, Regulatory, and Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs/Safety, to support milestone achievement and overall project delivery.
Maintains and evaluates study progress by using Project Management Software or other company tracking systems, updating project timelines in real time, and preparing or reviewing budget reviews.
Manages the project team to ensure study progress is according to both Neomorph and CRO requirements and in compliance with standard Neomorph processes, policies and procedures.
Ensures effective communication is maintained and project status updates are distributed weekly or as needed both internally and externally.
Facilitates scheduling of multi-disciplinary teams composed of both internal and external subject matter experts, prepares agenda, maintains meeting minutes, and ensures follow-up on action items.
Prepares forecasts for staff utilization over the life of the study and ensures adequate resourcing is available to meet project deliverables and milestones.
Manages interactions with CROs, vendors and collaborators including submission of Requests for Proposals, review of proposals and compilation/annotation of relevant materials needed to advance our internal pipeline or collaborations.
Reviews budget, invoices and quotes as well as timelines for payment and provides summary to our financial department.
Ensure our internal databases, project team SharePoint sites and other data storage and sharing tools are updated frequently and are secure.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a clinical, biological or science-related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
6 years of pre-clinical development and/or clinical research experience
3 years of project management experience, preferably with in biotech/pharma
PMP Certification
Experience in small molecule development
