Job Description

Job Description Salary: $93,500.00 Duties and responsibilities of Director of Operations include, but are not limited to: Operational Oversight:

Work closely with the President and Vice President to oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the organization. Monitor and manage the productivity and performance of various departments.

Business Process Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions. Use software and various methodologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Budget Management:

Aid in developing and managing operational budgets with the President and Vice President and Accounting team, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial stability. Monitor financial performance and suggest adjustments as necessary.

Staff Management and Development:

Work closely with team leads to manage and lead staff to ensure high performance and professional growth. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Technology and Systems Management:

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of operational systems and technology. Leverage technology, including AI, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments such as warehouse management, accounting and HR to ensure cohesive and aligned operations. Facilitate communication and coordination between different functions within the organization.

Project Management:

Plan, execute, and oversee operational projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Manage resources and timelines to achieve project objectives.

Supply Chain and Vendor Management:

Work closely with the Warehouse manager and project leads to oversee supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods and services.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of operational activities. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Performance Metrics:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze performance data and report on operational performance to senior management.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals. Align operational activities with the company’s strategic objectives.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational activities. Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.

Customer Satisfaction:

Ensure that operational activities are aligned with customer needs and expectations. Work to improve customer satisfaction and address any operational issues that affect the customer experience.

Continuous Improvement:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Encourage and support initiatives that drive operational excellence.
