Location- Detroit, MI
Onsite from day1
Experience- 8+ years
Rate- 55-70/hr c2c, 100-135kFTE
Keyskills- Support Software application, Debugging, Bench support, fix issues on the fly as test SW.
Responsibilities:
Responsible testing of software components (HIL benches, V&V)Support Software application, Debugging, Bench support, fix issues on the fly as test SW.Work closely with the electronics and hardware departments to ensure design of electronics and hardware can support the software requirements.Support architecture design and developmentCreate detailed designs to link the software implementation to the requirements.Conduct unit and integration tests to validate the software implementation.Support issue analysis and corrective action definitionsDevelop software in an ASPICE compliant process.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field5+ years in automotive embedded software developmentAbility to travel up to 10% of the year.Experience developing low level embedded software drivers.Experience implementing and integrating complex device drivers.Experience with vehicle communication (CAN, CAN FD, Flex Ray) and diagnostic protocolsFamiliar with developing flash able boot loaders.Familiar with Lauterbach debugging tools.Exposure to model-based development and auto-code generation of embedded software using Simulink/State flowFamiliarity with developing in an ASPICE environment.Familiarity with ISO26262Excellent Organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication in EnglishStrong analytical skills
