Position Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Manager to oversee all facets of recruitment, employee relations and career development.This position is pivotal to driving the culture of our company.Specifically, this leadership position, working with a small staff, oversees and executes effective recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefit programs, and company policies.

The successful candidate will possess a combination of strong technical skills and business acumen working as a key contributor to our leadership team.Working closely with the business owners and leadership team, the ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, be detail oriented, and bring a hands-on approach to working with all personnel in the company. You will be encouraged to bring innovative ideas and best practices to the team.We are seeking an individual who is motivated to develop their career at AGS Technology.

?Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of service for all Human Resource related matters.
  • Invigorate and drive the culture of the 90+ employees of the company, ensuring support of our vision, mission, and values.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure internal communications are consistent with our brand and are updated timely.
  • Effectively manage the recruiting process for the company including recruiting, scheduling, interviewing, job postings and social media.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring everyone understands what it means to be a part of AGS Technology and what benefit offerings we provide.
  • Track, maintain accurate attendance records, and enforce attendance policies to ensure compliance.
  • Development & Relations engage with new hires; facilitate annual performance review process; coordinate all training and development efforts including tracking; provide coaching/mentoring to employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Benefits Design & Administration partner with insurance experts and leadership to provide well-rounded, fiscally responsible benefits that provide employee security. Process monthly premiums. Administer all benefits enrollments and changes to medical, life, and disability plans.
  • Compliance develop all policies, procedures, and craft job descriptions in partnership with the leadership team; ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legislation including OSHA; support safety committee and coordinate light duty and return-to-work activities.
  • Employee Engagement plan and execute all employee-focused events that build a stronger sense of team; facilitate strong internal employee communication, maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and having fun.
  • Ability to meet and address all HR concerns on a three-shift operation. Staff all shifts accordingly using permanent, flex & temporary employee.
  • Coordinate company training and advise on specific training needs, including safety.

Background and Experience

Our preferred candidate should have the following attributes, skills, and experiences:

  • Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to balance the needs of a dynamic, high growth company with the overarching requirements of employee safety and welfare. Understanding of what tools to provide to hold functional heads accountable.
  • Demonstrated ability to be thoughtful and creative, while working towards meaningful impact.
  • Proven ability to engage all relevant members of the leadership team to align personnel requirements with short and long term operational and strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated success of working across functional groups to achieve key operational goals.
  • Ability to provide the leadership team complete visibility over Human Resources matters.
  • Operationally savvy; skilled and experienced in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic organization.
  • Under-graduate degree (BA/BS), preferably in Human Resources or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in increasing roles of responsibility and 5 years in leadership function.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP a Plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
