Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote within the state of FL is acceptable. If remote, candidates would be expected to travel to Juno Beach on a monthly cadence.

Required:
•Availability to travel to Juno Beach on a monthly cadence (required);
•Experience working as a Project Engineer (5+ years);
•Engineering and project management experience in the following fields: DG/commercial solar; Other technologies in the power industry - wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc;
•Experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials;
•Experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc);
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering. This is a requirement. Discipline can be electrical, civil, mechanical, aerospace, or chemical.

Preferred:
•Experience successfully managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects
•Engineering and project management experience on utility-scale solar projects;

Responsibilities :
•Be responsible for managing 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects;
•Project engineering responsibilities span from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning and require continuous coordination with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers for both early-stage and construction.
