Overview:

The Residential Housekeeper performs general cleaning functions for the EVS Department to assure that our community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

What you'll do:
  • Completes daily housekeeping functions assigned.
  • Cleans residents rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
  • Ensures that cleaning schedules are maintained.
  • Uses high standards for cleanliness and universal precautions.
  • Create cleaning schedules directly with residents.
  • Communicate and troubleshoot issues directly with residents
  • Clean townhomes and Garden Apartments throughout the entire Porter Hills Village premises.
What it takes:
  • Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment preferred
