Description

PackGene Biotech Inc offers a 10-week summer internship program for undergraduate students to gain hands-on working experience in their field of study, or in a field they would like to potentially pursue. Internships are offered in the following areas:

Process Analytic Development - Upstream and Downstream - Quality Control - Quality Assurance - Logistics - Marketing - Human Resources - Purchasing - Accounting - IT

June 3 - August 9, 2024

PackGene Biotech was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Guangzhou, China. It provides CRO/CDMO services to the emerging gene therapy industry and research institutes. PackGene Biotech (US) is a full subsidiary of the parent company and is expanding its global footprint.

Here's your opportunity to be an Intern with us The summer internship in the Marketing department at PackGene offers college students a unique opportunity to engage in the dynamic intersection of biotechnology and marketing. This role is ideal for students interested in learning how marketing strategies are developed and executed in the biotech industry, particularly in the gene and cell therapy sector.

The Marketing Intern will provide general support to the Marketing department management team by assisting with tasks, assignments, and projects relating to marketing and advertising functions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyze market intelligence to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Support the organization of company events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Contribute to creating marketing materials, including brochures, emails, and website content. (print, eFlyer, ads, etc.) Participate in social media management and content creation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote gene and cell therapy products and services.
  • Complete special projects as requested.
Job Competencies

•Strong interest in marketing within the biotechnology sector.

•Accountability and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

•Strong organizational and time-management skills.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Food & Nutrition or a related field.
  • Completion of coursework in molecular biology, genetics, and cell biology is preferred. College courses in Marketing and related commercial focus is a plus.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data is a plus
