Job Title: Surgical Technician

Job Specialty: Neuro/ENT Specialty

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Surgical Technician in Neuro/ENT

License: [To be discussed]

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: Experience with Neuro cases and ability to set up EVDs. Familiarity with Crani, EVD, and Spine procedures.

Job Description:

- Perform surgical technician duties in Neuro/ENT specialty with a strong focus on quality patient care.
- Handle Neuro/ENT, Orthopedic, General, Vascular, Laparoscopic, General Oncology, Genitourinary (GU), Gynecology (GYN), and Robotic procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to the surgical team in a high-paced, level III trauma center.
- Collaborate with charge nurses, leads, and supervisors for efficient unit operations.
- Utilize EPIC charting system and manage equipment effectively, including Alaris and Pyxis.
- Flexibility to be cross-trained to all Main OR specialties and the Urology center.
- Complete orientation of 1-1.5 weeks, tailored based on team and shift needs.
- Participate in on-call schedule with a 30-minute response time as required by department needs.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital guidelines, including wearing provided surgical scrubs.
- Work with a supportive team in a Magnet-designated facility.
