GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

  • The Planning Manager for Balance Sheet Cash Flow will play a pivotal role in our Finance team, overseeing, managing and analyzing financial activities related to balance sheet and cash flow statements at a consolidated global basis. This position requires a candidate positioned as a leader with extensive expertise in accounting, forecasting and modeling.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

1.Balance Sheet and Cash Flow:

  • Work with corporate accounting team in managing the process around the development and publishing/reconciling/reviewing the monthly balance sheet as well a similar process for the cash flow statements
  • Monthly analysis of B/S and CF vs prior year (PY) and annual operating plan (AOP) providing detailed analytics and narrative for the monthly reporting package.
  • Responsible for developing and collecting (regions) the information for the monthly, quarterly & annual forecasts of balance sheet and cash flow as well as leading the associated areas in the annual budget process
  • Support project work around automation of financial reporting and forecasting as it relates to the balance sheet and cash flow processes
  • In lieu of automated solutions develop efficiencies (short term) to speed up reporting and analysis, while helping to drive automated solutions long term.
  • Support 5-year forecast estimates as well as support for M&A and transaction activities that may arise
  • Collaborate with Treasury team to develop direct and indirect cash for 13 week and full year views on a monthly basis

2.Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC):

  • Develop, coordinate, track and communicate KPIs for CCC developing analysis and reporting details on the monthly basis
  • Assist regional teams in prioritizing areas by providing insights from data analysis identifying key areas for improvement across regions and functions to document and incorporate key actions
  • Measure performance of actuals to targets identifying gaps and work with wider team on actions to close gaps
  • Work to incorporate CCC activities into Working Capital forecast and translation to cash generation

4.Leadership:

  • Act as a key financial advisor to senior management, offering insights and recommendations on financial strategies and performance in relation to working capital and cash flow forecasting
  • Manage internal partners to support timely communication and understanding of results

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior financial roles, with a focus on working capital and cash flow expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of key metrics for working capital ratios (DSO, DOH & DPO).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Mastery of financial software and advanced Excel skills, including data analysis functions, pivot tables and macros development. Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Mastery of ERP systems, especially Masterdata and particularly MSD 365 knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven international environment.
