POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the GF Clinic Healthcare Delivery System/Network, to include the Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Clinic Hospital. Responsible for Treasury and Controllership functions, financial management responsibilities, preparing/presenting financial reports, Corporate Finance policy implementation. Gives direction, provides oversight, and evaluates work of Accounting staff. Directly oversee Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or similar degree, required.

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years of relevant Hospital or Clinic experience, along with three years supervisory experience. Public accounting experience (auditing healthcare clients) can substitute for a portion of the required Hospital or Clinic experience.

Experience in a for-profit setting, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

CPA or Certified Healthcare Professional (CHFP), preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)

Experience with financial accounting systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Attention to detail and well organized.

Possess strong analytical skills in hospital/clinic accounting and finance.

Ability to analyze volume and charge trends to assure appropriate charges are captured and correct reimbursement is received.

Must be skilled at interpreting the abstract pieces of financial analysis and performance; preparing schedules and reports; manipulating data.
