Summary of Position
Manage operations related to on-campus housing, including facilitating student development and support, leading and training a team of Resident Assistants, fostering a community environment, mediating conflicts, planning events, and enforcing campus policies through disciplinary procedures including Title IX. Coordinate administrative duties including budgeting, purchasing, record keeping, building security, maintenance requests, and other operational functions related to community living.
Minimum Required Education
High School diploma or GED required. Associates Degree from a nationally or regionally accredited university is preferred
Minimum Required Experience
One year of direct or related paid work experience in College housing, or two years equivalent supervisory experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Ability to effectively communicate with resident assistants, residential students and college staff and faculty.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of CTCD management.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated supervisory, programmatic and organizational skills.
+ Ability to be personally flexible and be able to function with initiative and good judgment.
+ Ability to serve as effective and caring student advocate.
+ Ability to understand Title IX, student conduct and student-of-concern protocols and operating procedures.
+ Computer software knowledge to include Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Capability to display good customer service skills.
Salary 1J/Per Salaried Pay Scale
Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thurs 7:30 am-5:30 pm; and Fri 7:30 am-11:30 am., Other - Must be on-call after hours and weekends, as needed.

+ Successful applicant must reside in the Central Texas College Morton Hall apartment free of charge (small 1 bedroom, no children, or pets allowed).
