Supervisor Marketing-St. Catherine's Village

Provides strong leadership in developing and directing a dynamic marketing and communication service at St. Catherine's Village. Demonstrates creativity and fresh thinking in managing all activities of the marketing department as well as integrating marketing functions for all of St. Catherine's Village. Provides strategic leadership in planning the marketing, public relations, advertising, and communication functions in order to drive desired business growth and enhance the hospital's overall awareness and effectiveness. This position reports to the Assistant Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- Job Function :
- Has passion and knowledge for marketing and communications Works closely with hospital executives to determine priorities and tactics Understands and drives strategic marketing plans to achieve revenue and desired business growthand do so with measurable results Communicates strategic marketing plan effectively and proactively to other departments and entities throughout St. Dominic's Directs, promotes, and protects the hospital brand by establishing an ongoing dialogue with targeted audiences Maintains marketing and business development contact with hospital departments, local business and industry and community groups to promote St. Dominic's mission and services Directs multiple complex projects-achieving measurable results within set time lines Thinks creatively and proactively and requires minimal direction/supervision Creates, initiates, develops and coordinates effective advertising and promotions to drive strategic priorities utilizing all media to publicize St. Dominic's services Monitors, reports and demonstrates return on investment (ROI) of marketing and communication efforts and budgets to maintain control over marketing results Trains, monitors, and directs activities of Marketing staff
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting while on duty. Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 10-15 pounds with or without assistance. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties required. Ability to perform effectively in a stressful and fast paced environment. Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests. Physical conditions are clean, neat and well lit. Maybe subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgment as to precautions need to be taken is essential. Climate control an ambient temperature variances may be experienced. Exposure to limited amounts of hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility. Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to emergency circumstances. Direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which universal precautions apply. Personal protective equipment is made available and must be worn.
Education :
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in related field such as marketing, communications, business or health care administration. Master's Degree preferred.
- Previous experience in market planning and development, advertising, or public relations.
- Demonstrates creativity and fresh thinking and understands the importance of ROI and the complexities of health care marketing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, and knowledge of layout and design techniques.
