Project Director to join our Production Team

and help us maintain our high standards of quality. The ideal candidate

must have extensive experience managing schedules and overseeing all aspects of multiple project’s development, from planning and design to execution and completion of work

and delegate tasks to senior colleagues and their teams, to ensure that each phase of the build is completed as planned. In this capacity, you must

ensure that everyone is working together effectively and efficiently to complete the project on time and within budget . You must be a

strong leader with excellent communication skills , able to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals to achieve our goals. The Director of Construction will be responsible for overseeing all construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards. Main Responsibilities: Manage the construction execution at multiples sites, according to time and budget, under safe conditions. Your responsibilities will include the site’s general infrastructure and project logistics. Coordinate all contractors to ensure good progress and cooperation, including daily coordination meetings with team and stakeholders. Direct interface with construction general contractors and discipline contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases. Negotiate change orders throughout the execution and life cycle of the project. Administer financial aspects of the contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project milestones. Monitor schedule progress together with the project planner and the team, including forecasts and mitigation actions at site to ensure that the projects run according to the overall time plans. Develop and agree on project construction goals and execution strategy while engaging the project team and fostering collaboration with external partners. Establish and inspire an inclusive on-site working culture while ensuring execution quality during all project phases considering environmental protection, process and occupational safety until successful completion and acceptance of project deliverables. Requirements

Bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering. At least 15 years of relevant international and local experience in delivering high-end and complex engineering buildings projects, from concept through detailed design to completion of construction. Must have experience managing multiple large and complex construction projects simultaneously. Must have solid experience in contract management. Successful track record of leading and growing large multi-cultural and interdisciplinary teams with ambitious timelines and goals. Inspiring leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide people through projects plus ability to resolve complex problems and be confortable with ambiguity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Commitment to safety and sustainability in design practices. Ability to read and work with Ms Project, REVIT, CAD drawings and BIM. Previous experience In Angola/Africa is highly desirable. Must be willing to relocate as needed. Fluency in Portuguese and Advanced level of English (verbal & written).
