Seeking: Social Media Strategist

inMusic is hiring an experienced, strategic, and highly creative Social Media Strategist to lead our social media marketing efforts across all brands. We want a Social Media Strategist who crafts best-in-class strategies and breaks the internet with creative content across both established and emerging platforms. This person will be directing all social media activities to engage both existing and new customers, driving acquisition and retention.

You'll work with a motivated world-class team of marketers in brand, content, creative, and public relations. You'll be developing comprehensive plans to increase brand awareness, affinity, engagement, and conversion. Your plans will feed into a broader marketing plans and paid media advertising. You'll get to leverage earned and owned media while simultaneously partnering with key social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and emerging platforms.

We're an efficient bunch at inMusic, so you can expect to be measured by the performance of your social media efforts and management.

In other words, you'll be:

  • Owning the development and execution of strategic social media marketing plans and budgets, focusing on organic and paid channels.
  • Leading the creation of a wide range of content forms including video, text, imagery, and interactive media, maximizing platform technology and user engagement.
  • Collaborating with various teams across the company to develop creative ideas and strategies that are integrated across marketing channels.
  • Managing relationships with major social platforms and other partners to build innovative social media marketing plans that connect with customers and maximize engagement and advocacy.
  • Planning and executing social media campaigns on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on social media performance to optimize strategies and increase shareability and conversion.
Requirements

If you have:
  • Experience with music production or electronic musical instruments and equipment
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Fluency in English
