We are looking for our next Surgical Dental Assistant / Lab Support Technician for our Spokane, WA practice Our Support Tech ensures efficiency and effectiveness in the day to day of the lab and chairside with Dr. This is a great opportunity for the right Dental assistant to get trained on being a dental lab support technician and digital DA. We work hard, but at the end of the day, we feel a sense of satisfaction that we have helped to improve our patients' lives.Surgical Dental Assistant / Lab Support Technician Job Duties:Assist Dr with all surgical procedure related procedures in the lab and operatoryPrint STL files and remove supports from printed prostheticProcesses traditional dentures using the cold pour and press pack methodPour impressions, make bite blocks and finish and polish traditional denturesDocuments actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsUtilizes and conserves supplies and equipment to complete anything that the dr requests in the lab scriptImproves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changesUpdates dental laboratory technician job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities, including, working with the Centralized Lab Technician to continuously improve and master your craftEnhances dental laboratory reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments RequirementsQualifications for Lab Support Technician:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required1-2 years of experience working in a lab1-3 years experience being a Dental Assistant, preferably for a prosthodontist Full understanding of all steps of dentures/implantsAbility to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.The right candidate will have the following attributes:Fabulous communication skills, must be a "people" personA Positive work ethicDetail OrientedA Great AttitudeA Motivated, Self-Starter - great initiativeA Dedicated Worker and Team PlayerYou must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, be knowledgeable in all types of proceduresExperience with implants is a definite plusSalary Based on experienceThis is a full time positionJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to Friday Salary Description $25-$35/hr
