THE JOB:

The Host/Cashier is primarily responsible for representing the brand of the venue while greeting and seating guests and assisting service staff with guest contact and table information.

THE STARTING RATE: $25.72

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet guests when they enter the outlet, determine what comps, points or awards guests have and finally complete the payment transaction through the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Determine the size of the party and any special needs for seating, work with the team to locate and assist guests to their seating/table.
  • Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with any final guest needs or questions.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to include the cashier box, dining room and service stations.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • At least 6 months customer service experience
  • One (1) year of Food & Beverage cashier or equivalent experience in a cash handling position
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in a high volume food outlet
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
