We are expanding our full stack team to develop end-to-end capabilities for Plan Sponsors in partnership with our vendor partner. We will be developing greenfield applications using modern technologies and automated process to provide stakeholders transparency into the program and delivery business value to our clients.

In this role, you will:

Provide senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products. Translate technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. Write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports. Employ software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation. Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up production support. Submit change control requests and documents. Thoroughly understand software development methodology and development architecture standards. Train and mentor staff with less experience. Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Explain technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients. Perform systems analysis activities. Thoroughly understand client business functions and technology needs. Have a broad understanding of Vanguard's technologies, tools, and applications, including those that interface with business area and systems. Collaborate with cross functional team members, and communicates systems issues at the appropriate technical level for each audience. Thoroughly understand and follow Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures, verifying that work meets requirements.

What it takes:

Minimum of 3+ years of Java, Angular and Node.js experience Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Technical leadership of end-to-end development (UI, Services, testing and Monitoring) A growth mindset with a passion for trying new things and modernizing current technology. AWS Cloud experience (ECS, EKS and Lambda) Familiarity with agile development and unit / e2e tests
