The senior-level Commercial Lender is responsible for acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing loan, deposit and treasury relationships with businesses that generally have revenues up to $50mm. This position provides exceptional customer service by taking ownership of the customer experience.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for annual goals tied to loan and deposit volume, cross-sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation.
- Managing and growing existing customer relationships with businesses that generally have up to $50M in revenue.
- Takes ownership of credit sheet content and quality by working closely with credit analysts on their successful and timely completion.
- Executes exemplary portfolio management via the following by: Maintaining appropriate risk rating on all credits at all times, managing administrative past dues to 0% at all times, managing delinquencies as close to 0% at all times, keeping documentation exceptions to a minimum, maintaining covenant tracking without missing testing dates, limit reporting tickler exceptions to a minimum.
- Works closely with internal partners to generate internal referrals as wells as developing an external network of centers of influence.
- Takes part in bank events during and after hours.
- Responsible for understanding the impact of lending on the bank's CRA goals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel 10-50%
