About the job Dental Assistant (Hybrid) - Oceanside Dental Assistant Floater - North Coast Dental ExcellenceNorth Coast Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and adaptable Dental Assistant Floater to join our dedicated team, providing essential support across our practices in Oceanside and surrounding areas. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a broad skill set, and are passionate about patient care, we would love to hear from youKey Responsibilities:Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative work, surgery, implants, and endodontics.Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and dental equipment, maintaining rigorous infection control standards.Perform dental scanning and imaging with accuracy to support diagnostic processes.Deliver exceptional patient care, providing comfort and guidance throughout treatment visits.Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination as needed.Adapt quickly to different practice environments and actively contribute to a positive team culture.Monitor and manage inventory to ensure all necessary dental supplies are well-stocked.Perform basic front desk duties, including scheduling and patient communication, if cross-trained.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of chair-side experience.Must be able to work Saturdays (9 AM - 5 PM) and weekdays (9 AM - 6 PM).Strong verbal communication skills to support basic front desk responsibilities.Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.Valid California Dental Assistant certification/license.Radiography certification preferred.Proficiency in dental scanning techniques and imaging procedures.Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Why Join Us?Competitive pay and flexible scheduling.Supportive work environment with a focus on professional growth and team collaboration.Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a friendly atmosphere.How to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with a resume and cover letter outlining their relevant experience and skills.
