Our vision is to build a better broadband future for rural America. NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association is looking for an appeals coordinator to join our outstanding Group Health team. The appeals coordinator handles all aspects of the appeal process for medical, dental, disability and flexible spending claims in accordance with government and plan specific guidelines and regulations. What will you do? Track all appeals related to NTCA’s Group Health Program and ensure all appeals are completed within the applicable time requirements. Review appeal materials received related to an appeal and obtain any additional information needed. Analyze information received by external vendors related to appeals. Prepare correspondence such as appeal determination letters and related emails. Create reports related to appeal status and outcomes. Perform quality assurance measures and reporting for claims processed by the NTCA Group Health Program staff. To perform the job successfully, a candidate should have the following qualifications: Analysis and critical thinking skills Advanced verbal and written communication skills Ability to research and analyze information to determine appropriate responses to complex questions Understanding of the health insurance industry practice and principles Knowledge of employee benefits is preferred Why work with us?
