Therapeutic Duties

Individual therapy with identified students Group therapy Family therapy as needed Therapeutic assessment and evaluation Therapeutic note and record keeping Consultation with outside professionals Oversee drug prevention program Conflict resolution with students and/or staff Emotional crisis management and determination of student personal safety Mandated reporting, as needed Participate in treatment team conference calls Administrative Duties Part of the Administration team Daily communication with students, staff, and families Assist in determining consequences for students Lead and assist in staff training and support Oversee staff and contract therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrist Work with the school Controller to ensure proper billing Marketing to Ed Consultants and other potential referral sources Attend administrative, residential life, and faculty meetings Qualifications
