We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounting manager to join our dynamic team at Fiserv. As an accounting manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, and have a proactive approach to process improvement.

What You Will Do

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end accounting processes. Maintain an effective control structure to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls, GAAP, and Fiserv corporate policies. Cultivate a positive and proactive work environment, emphasizing respect, quality standards, customer service, innovation, and teamwork. Drive a results-oriented culture within the department, motivating and holding staff accountable to organizational goals. Act as a trusted advisor on business issues, becoming adept at understanding key drivers impacting business performance. Assist in the company's annual audit and quarterly reviews, ensuring compliance with internal SOX controls and accounting procedures. Collaborate with management on identifying and implementing improved controls and procedures. Identify, account for, and resolve risks, exposures, and key business issues. Contribute to special projects and perform ad hoc analysis and tasks as assigned.

What You Will Need To Have

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, computer science, business, or data analytics Combination of educational background, related work experience, and/or military experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel Experience reconciling large data sets.

What Would Be Great To Have

CPA license and/or Master’s degree in accounting Experience in lease accounting. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
