OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will develop and maintain relationships with businesses, community resources and stakeholders in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. The partnerships will support Ardmore's mission and organization initiatives to create opportunities that positively impact the community, people enrolled in Ardmore's services and direct support professionals.

This role focuses on building cross-functional relationships and developing partnerships with internal departments and local community businesses and influential leaders representing the highest levels in business, government, and non-profit sectors. The role is responsible for conducting outreach, developing and maintaining key relationships and working to ensure a clear understanding with internal departments to achieve organizational goals. The partnerships will be specific to Ardmore's services, fundraisers, legislative initiatives, and community inclusion for people with disabilities.

The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships models Employment First and Person-Centered values and principles, including the presumption that all people can work, and be active members of their communities when in the right setting, and if provided with the right support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Outreach:
•Build awareness of our program with businesses and business organizations.
•Attend business, professional and trade organizational meetings and conferences to educate parties on the benefits of employment and community inclusionfor people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
•Maintain current knowledge of local employment networks.
•Establish partnerships and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
•Develop strong referral relationships with the business community.
•Explore new ideas and innovative approaches.

Current Placement Relationships
•Partner with employment team to ensure opportunities are created to meet the interests and needs of job candidates.
•Liaison with the employment team and new employer to ensure a solid employment plan is developed and implemented.
•Conduct outreach to potential employers, following up all leads and nurturing potential partnerships.
•Utilize person-centered approaches, strategies and tools to help get to know people and their families in order to discover what they find most important.
•Use all resources available to network and build relationships with businesses, including social media, targeted outreach, individualized informationalinterviews and participation in events at community organizations such as local chamber of commerce and civic organizations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
•Must have excellent time management and customer service skills.
•Strong ability to think creatively and develop strong internal and external relationships and resources is required.
•Must be confident and comfortable working in the field independently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's degree or experience in Sales, Customized Employment, Workforce Development, or Communication or Special Education/Vocational Rehabilitationdegree strongly preferred.
•Minimum of three (3) years' experience with public speaking, promotions, or marketing strongly preferred.
•Must be able to work independently and flexibly through a combination of telework, community-based, and in-person support to meet the needs of theprogram and department.
•Proficiency in data management and standard administrative software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

REQUIRED CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
•COVID-19 Considerations: Ardmore Enterprises had a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy. All employees are required to be vaccinated, unless a religious/medical exemption is requested.

Salary - $75k - $80k
