The Contract Capabilities Sr. Analyst provides in-depth customer contract analysis and modeling to provide data-driven knowledge and guidance for contract optimization. Analyzes contractual terms, collects related data, synthesizes and reports findings. Performs rigorous, error-proof analyses with high attention to detail. Identifies emerging patterns, trends and insights across all contract components.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Critically read and analyze contracts and related materials.
  • Review, interpret and audit contracts for value maximization of services provided and products delivered.
  • Build models in Excel or other tools to identify and assess the economic implications of different contract structures. Score the quality of a deal based on key performance indicators (e.g., volume, margin).
  • Prepare necessary documentation to properly show performance and to communicate compliance, deviations, or opportunities
  • Leverage industry knowledge, competitive benchmarking, market data and internal intelligence to measure performance. Provide insights for account improvement.
  • Use creative problem solving and analytical skills to understand the advantages and limits of different analytical approaches and studies.
  • Study, identify and formulate unique solutions on issues not readily identifiable within various aspect of routine company processes.
  • Effectively communicate and distribute actionable information, analyses, and insights to appropriate internal audiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with strategic capability, competitive intelligence or audit helpful. Additional senior-level professional experience may substitute for some of the graduate level education.
  • Three (3) years of professional-level experience in an occupation related to legal compliance, accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or business. Professional certification in field is preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and data sources.
  • Ability to use creative problem solving and analytical skills to understand the advantages and limits of different analytical approaches and their findings.
  • Ability to work comfortably with and gain the trust of senior leaders in the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, Alteryx and other relevant software applications, including data analytics. Advanced Excel and statistical skills desired.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships across cross-functional teams.

  • Some travel (less than 20%) required.
