General Summary:

The Program Coordinator will provide the intake and enrollment interviews and other related services for parents with a Montgomery County, MD, Court Order who seek services at the Safe Passage Center (SPC). The SPC maintains a safe and neutral setting where families with histories of high conflict and/or domestic violence can engage in visitation between children and their visiting parents in a monitored setting or can participate in monitored exchanges of children for weekend visits with their non-custodial parents.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

* Provide intake and enrollment interviews for all parents referred to the SPC* Review visitation and exchange reports prepared by staff of accuracy and completeness* Monitor visits and supervised exchanges between parents and children* Ensure visit and waiting rooms remain neat and organized* Participate in case reviews and administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the center

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

* Minimum of Bachelor degree in human services, social work, psychology or education field or equivalent.* Minimum of two years of experience in the field of supervised visitation or equivalent training and work with at risk families and children in a social service setting* Must be able to demonstrate written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English.* Experience with families impacted by domestic violence preferred.* Must have some supervisory experience and be 21 years of age or older.* Must have effective communication skills
