Controls Engineer

Description:

+ Must have industrial control experience and knowledge of the following:

+ PLC programming (Allen Bradley required, Siemens, Omron, others advantageous)

+ Robotics programming (UR and Fanuc advantageous)

+ Control system design including electrical components specification

+ Machine and motion control

+ HMI design

+ IIoT and networking

+ Machine safety

+ Collaborate with sales, engineers, project managers, and production team to ensure project success

+ Must be flexible as well as willing and able to maintain multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Bachelors degree in engineering preferred. Associates degree and equivalent experience required

+ Ability to adapt quickly and maintain a positive attitude

+ Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

+ Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, typically via automobile but occasional plane travel may be required

+ Cognex exp is required
