Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented EMR RCM (Electronic Medical Records Revenue Cycle Management) Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in analyzing EMR and RCM data from various platforms like NextGen, ModMed, IMS, and eCW. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, revenue cycle processes, and a proven ability to extract actionable insights from complex electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:
  1. EMR Data Analysis:
    • Proficiently analyze electronic medical records data from multiple EMR systems like NextGen, ModMed, IMS, and eCW.
    • Identify and evaluate trends, patterns, and anomalies within the EMR data to improve revenue cycle efficiency and accuracy.
  1. RCM Process Optimization:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand revenue cycle processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement data-driven solutions to enhance revenue cycle management efficiency, reduce errors, and maximize financial outcomes.
  1. Reporting and Dashboards:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle management.
    • Present findings to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing revenue cycle performance.
  1. Interoperability:
    • Ensure seamless interoperability between different EMR systems, facilitating the smooth flow of data for revenue cycle management purposes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, working closely with IT and other relevant teams.
  1. Compliance and Security:
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance standards related to EMR and RCM.
    • Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive patient and financial data.
  1. Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to end-users on effective utilization of EMR and RCM systems.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, assisting team members in understanding and navigating various EMR platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with EMR systems like NextGen, ModMed, IMS, and eCW.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes in healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance standards and security protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Healthcare Information Management Systems (HIMSS) or similar.
  • Prior experience in implementing EMR and RCM solutions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards.
