Responsibilities:



  • Lead a team of data engineers in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines to extract, transform, integrate, and load data from diverse sources.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Architect data models and implement best practices for data governance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and privacy.
  • Drive automation and standardization efforts to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to optimize data management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Architects, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to deliver impactful insights and drive informed decision-making.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management with a focus on data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and implementing data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud-based data platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra).
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift).
  • Experience with stream-processing systems (e.g., Kafka, Spark-Streaming) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
