This is not just some sales job, yourrole is to be an educator and a style consultant. This is a full-time positionoffering the stability of a career in healthcare.NO Experience Needed:Prior medical office or eye care experience is a plus, but it's certainly notrequired. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpfulheart, and a love of learningSome of your duties will include:- Helping people pick out frames that suit them based on the shape of their face,bridge fit, lifestyle, and prescription.- Determining the best lens types, materials, coatings, and brands for patients'needs. For example, a kid who plays basketball will need something different fromsomeone who works on a computer all day.- Educating first-timers on how to use and take care of their glasses and/orcontact lenses- Troubleshooting prescription issues and miscellaneous repairs, taking accuratemeasurements for all lens styles and prescriptions, checking new glasses for fitand making adjustments- Occasionally welcome patients and pull medical records.- Accurately chart insurance and patient information explaining to patients whattheir insurance or savings plan cover.- Keeping the optical space looking clean and decorated for the season to make itneat and welcoming, doing inventory, ordering, sending and receiving shipments.If these sound like you, please apply- You're a natural problem solver, and hearing things like "these glasses don'tfit" or "I'm looking for a new look" gets you pumped up to work your magic.- You're confident in making recommendations and connecting with peoplequickly and easily.- You are comfortable with technology and open to learning new applicationsand software, you'll harness the tools around you to make your job as easy oreffortless as possible.- Strong oral communication skills are a MUST, while being able to maintain acaring and professional demeanor.- You can get along great with anybody, are full of energy and people feelcharged up just being around you.- You are attentive, organized, and your work reflects all of these characteristics.- You're known for doing what you say you're going to do -Your reputation forhonesty and integrity is legendary.- You don't know the meaning of "someone else's problem" or "that's not myjob."
