Manages and oversees base Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Accounting and reconciliation, including coordinating with the Field Support Center in the complex recording and tracking of SAF Book & Claim (B&C) credits. Also, cross-functional collaboration with various groups, including Ops, Commercial, IT, and FSC Accounting, will be included to manage the expansion/roll-out of SAF to additional locations and to design future state process automation.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of SIGnet sales of Jet vs. Saf to Efuel and FMS
- Run SIGnet reports for suspended tickets
- Run AS/400 sales by PCAT/Tail reports
- Update FMS tickets to correct fuel type
- Ensure FMS SAF receipts are correctly entered with qty, blend, CI, batch#
- Ensuring Signature Aviation does not let SAF go in a negative
- Ensure timely closing of FMS fuel days and SIGnet Tickets
- Update efuel transactions if FMS fuel day and/or SIGnet tickets are not closed out
- Ensure any SIGnet credit/rebills are done in a timely manner
- Ensure third-party inventory holders (Mercury/Epic) have adequate Jet A supply
- Coordinate with FSC Book & Claim (B&C) analyst on supply issues, batch changes, issues/concerns with reconciliation findings
- Monitor Fuel Stats
- Maintain (shared folder) files of COAs and any other documents for SAF certification.
- Train and/or monitor location staff (fuel clerk/CSR/Coupa Orders) on some FMS data entry requirements of the new blended base (SAF and JETA)
- Collaborate with FSC Operations and Commercial Teams to roll out SAF to additional locations.
- Collaborate with IT to design an automated B&C Accounting process
- Provide leadership to location staff in the SAF accounting and monitoring process
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four (4) years of college or university plus five (5) years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Aviation industry experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong computer skills/competencies in Excel, database management, Hyperion and UKG Dimensions
- Working knowledge of AIS (airline invoicing system) and FMS (fuel management system) preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform independently and as part of a team
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
