Widger Talent is spearheading a confidential search for a Client seeking a highly skilled and visionary VP, Product, to join their growing team. The VP, Product, will play a pivotal role in shaping the Client's product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products to market. They will lead a talented team of product managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our strategic objectives. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive product success.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring product quality and market fit.
  • Product Launch: Lead successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and marketing campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key metrics and KPIs to track product performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product success.
  • Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, gathering feedback, prioritizing customer requests, and continuously improving the customer experience.
  • Technology Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management or related roles, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling SaaS products.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making.
    • Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer value.
