Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant. Responsible for overseeing various financial activities, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful analysis. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Monitor and interpret financial data, identifying trends and variances to support business decisions. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial information to management. Coordinate and support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation expenses. Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances. Assist with tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial controls. Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) working in a senior accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment. Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in audit preparation and working with external auditors is highly desirable. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
