Position Description:
Are you passionate about analyzing supply chain operations and driving efficiencies? Join the dynamic team at American Tire Distributors (ATD) as a Supply Chain Analyst ATD is a leading tire distributor with a vast distribution network serving clients across the United States.As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing operational efficiency and supporting network planning initiatives within ATD's supply chain. You'll collaborate with various teams to improve capacity and operational planning, streamline reporting, and address operational challenges. Your analytical skills will be crucial in developing operational forecasts and contributing to network management.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize analytical techniques to support capacity planning programs in coordination with Operations and Planning teams.
- Identify operational challenges and assist in resolving them by aligning business requirements with technical and operational constraints.
- Contribute to the improvement of capacity management programs by identifying and addressing root causes of issues.
- Prepare and update weekly capacity reports, highlighting insights and recommending actions.
- Support process/reporting improvements within capacity and operational planning.
- Plan and prioritize work initiatives to align with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in supply chain analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions in compiling, manipulating, and reporting data.
- Effective cross functional communication and collaboration
- Experience in forecasting or demand planning is a plus.
- Experience in other data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and other supply chain management systems is a plus
