Sr. Accountant

Vaco Staffing is recruiting for a Sr. Accountant for a client in Kenosha, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client. Duties include: Set-up new projects in accounting system Upload project budgets in accounting system Review and provide budgets-to-actual costs reports with/to PM Oversees cash flow for all development project sources Record and reconcile draw reimbursements/project receivables Prepare and monitor project schedules and reports Record project financial statement activity from outside partners Record assets and liabilities on balance sheet Review closing documents & book inventory, acquisitions, construction loans, and/or perm loan Reconcile legal entity costs to the job project costs Work with finance and legal teams for capital funding Manage/track inventory Record and reconcile cash receipts Determine payment requests have proper authorization, coding, documentation Complete monthly close and related journal entries Provide ad-hoc reporting to leadership Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college/university (accounting, finance) +5 years related experience Above average Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Exposure to variety of software (MSFT Office/Teams, Jonas, AppFolio, DocuSign, Adobe, etc.) Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
