The Bartenders will support our mission by creating an engaging experience while providing attentive and friendly service to all Belmont Parks Restaurants patrons.

Our bartenders possess in-depth knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and are skilled in crafting a range of specialty drinks. This role includes preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring the bar area remains clean and organized

What will you do:
  • Greets and engages with patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Responsible for taking orders, offering menu guidance, and making recommendations.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering expectational service and addressing guests concerns.
  • Crafts a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks based on recipes and customer preferences.
  • Garnishes drinks with appropriate garnishes and ensures precise preparation.
  • Educate customers on beer sampling and provides insight on various beer attributes.
  • Able to answer inquiries about beer color, clarity, carbonation, aroma, mouthfeel/body, flavors, and finish.
  • Monitor and manages the bar's inventory, restocks supplies as needed and ensures proper storage.
  • Change kegs when beer runs out and can diagnose and replace CO2 tanks when empty.
  • Keeps the bar area clean, organized and reports equipment problems or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Verifies the legal drinking age of customers and adheres to local and state regulations.
  • Maintains a safe and hygienic workspace, proactively intervenes in cases of potential overconsumption.
  • Collaborates effectively with fellow bar staff and other restaurant personnel.
  • Assist colleagues during peak periods and cover for each other during breaks.
  • Accurately operates the POS (point of sale) system, handles cash transactions responsibly and secures credit card receipts.
  • Attend departmental meetings and service- training seminars as required.
  • Completed all assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Handles any other duties and responsibilities assigned or required by management.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Two years bartending experience required combined with food & beverage service experience.
  • Preferred knowledge of craft beer.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to perform effectively as a team player.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors and guests.

Flexible work hours, including but not exclusive to busiest times, weekends, holidays, and nights
