Director, Corporate FP&AAre you someone who wants to make a big impact? We are looking for an experienced FP&A director to help improve the companys visibility into the future. Working closely with leadership across the company, you will use your knowledge of corporate finance to help make optimal business decisions.About the TeamThe FP&A team is a close group of energetic individuals who work together to drive efficient decision making across the company. We partner with leadership to help them understand their organizations and invest their resources so that they can best support the customer. Through these partnerships, FP&A also has a unique position within the broader Finance organization to facilitate decision-making across Accounting, Investor Relations and Business Intelligence.About the RoleThe Director of Corporate FP&A will be in the unique position of overseeing Rapid7s consolidated operating and financial plans. They will work with leaders across the organization to influence decision-making and ensure the optimal allocation of investment as Rapid7 approaches $1 billion in ARR.In this role, you will:Lead the financial forecast consolidation process and present our monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts to senior managementManage the corporate revenue forecast, working with leadership and Operations to understand variances and future risks & opportunities.Lead through change and support adoption of technology for automated reporting and better business insightsWork with the broader finance team to consolidate the annual plan with a focus on the underlying assumptions and drivers of growth and profitability.Consolidate and analyze operating and financial results for all three financial statements explaining trends & drivers in order to identify future opportunities and challengesMaintain Rapid7s long-range financial model while partnering closely with leadership to ensure the company meets its growth and profitability goals.Work closely with the CFO and Strategic Finance on ad-hoc projects with opportunities for cross-functional team interactionsBe a major contributor to high-profile, strategic and operational initiatives, making informed recommendations.Support the Corporate Development team in M&A opportunities that ariseDrive and manage portions of our quarterly Board of Director materials with a constant focus on improving the quality of the materialsWork with Investor Relations to assist in the preparation of our quarterly earnings calls.The skills youll bring include:10+ years of experience in FP&A or similar role, preferably with experience in a publicly traded technology company.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into a narrative that enables decision making.Strong understanding of the three financial statements and their relationship to one anotherCollaborative attitude and the ability to establish solid partnerships and build consensus at all levels of the organization.Willingness to disrupt the status quo to create positive change and improve the impact of FP&A.Exceptional financial modeling skills with an ability to create sustainable and reliable models to enable better understanding and decision making.Critical thinking, problem solving and inquisitiveness coupled with a desire to continuously learn new skills.An ability to make decisions and move forward with limited information - an ability to operate in the grayKnowledge of Adaptive Planning, Workday, and data visualization tools such as Tableau a plusWe know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
