Job Description

Under the direction of the Financial Manager, the Data Entry Specialist I receives, collects, reviews and enters data into a computer system or tracking database. Ensures accuracy of all data recorded and verifies that the information is complete. May provide basic reports and be a resource for other staff members

Responsibilities

  • Prepare billing invoices for grants, clinical trials, and other revenue.
  • Update and maintain Finance tracker for all activities
  • Reconcile clinical trials trackers
  • Assists with the regular preparation of reports, and communicate with sponsors to collect outstanding payments.
  • May ensure that grants, clinical trials and other revenue and expense driven projects are properly monitored and timely reports are prepared.
  • May prepare a transmittal of instructions for checks and cash which accompanies these instruments to the main cashier or Finance for deposit and credit to the appropriate account.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders, contracts, invoices, check requests, petty cash vouchers, travel requests and travel vouchers, fund transfers as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree/Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • May require one year of experience
