Patient Access Rep

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Access Rep to fill an opening in Lebanon, NH.
Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Rep:
- Secures medical necessity checks/verification in accordance to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services, verifies insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, completes assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtains insurance authorizations for scheduled & unscheduled Hospital services, and secures inpatient visit notification to payors
- Completes full patient registration at date of service, thoroughly explains and secures Hospital & patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of services, Consent for treatment, Important Message from Medicare, EMTALA, etc.)
- Scan Protected Health Information, create and file patient information packets/folders for upcoming Hospital services
- May also assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures (enters data in scheduling system, provide customer with appointment instructions, other tasks as needed)
- Educates patients about patient financial liabilities and performs hospital cash reconciliation & secured payment
- Multiple shifts available:
- Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
- Wed-Sat 6:00am-6:00pm, 9am-9pm or 7:30am-6:00pm
Required Qualifications for Patient Access Rep:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ year of ANY Healthcare background
- Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Access to Investment Accounts
- Career and educational tools within our Ingenovis ACT (Advocacy) Program
Pay Details: $18.5/hour
