Job Description The Mortgage Project Lead acts as liaison between Ent's MortgageDepartment, IT and the Mortgage Technical Analyst (MTA) team. Thisperson is responsible for providing business analysis, resourcecoordination, and managing the project lifecycle development process frominitiation to implementation within the Mortgage Lending area. The MortgageProject Lead maintains organizational effectiveness and efficiency bydefining, delivering, and supporting strategic goals for implementingMortgage projects and technologies. This individual works independently andwith teams on a variety of projects and demonstrates positive leadershipskills. This position is expected to have the technical and business knowledgeto identify and document functional solutions to complex requirements. Essential FunctionsProject Leadership / Business Analysis: Provide leadership in projectmanagement for projects within Mortgage business units. Ensure projectmanagement life cycle is followed. Major deliverables: Project Scope,Project Charters, Project Plan, Communication Plans, Request forProposal (RFP)/ Request for Information (RFI), Requirementsand/or Specification Documents, Risk Plans, Project Status Updates,and Post MoAnalysis Support: Provide business analysis support to Mortgage Lending tofacilitate process re-engineering, create process diagrams and ensuredefinition of project scope and requirements. Major deliverables:Requirements; Specification Documents; Process Diagrams.Process Improvement: Drive and recommend improvements to Mortgage processesand procedures. Oversee creation of new documents and updates to existingdocuments.Professional development: Administrative duties Attending seminars andclasses and attending staff meetings as required.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies andprocedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Qualifications Minimum Formal Qualifications for this PositionBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar3+ years' of applicable work experience related to project managementand/or Mortgage Lending, Consumer Lending or Finance Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in arelevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of abachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience couldbe substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accountingwork experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of workexperien Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:In-depth knowledge of financial business functionsExpertise in business analysis techniques: process definition,cost/benefit analysis, proposal preparationExpertise in document preparationProficiency with use of project management tools (MS Project)Proficiency with use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel,Word, PowerPoint)Proficient with use of process flow methodology and tools (MicroGraphics,Flow Charter, Visio)Basic understanding of project management techniques, processes, andmethodologies(preferred) Strong understanding of project management techniques,processes, and metho ologies(preferred) Strong knowledge of Symitar Certifications Required:PMP Certification or experience in ISO, CMM or similar standards preferredEnvironmental, Physical and Psychological RequirementsStanding - OccasionallyWalking - OccasionallySitting - FrequentlyLifting - Rarely (40 Lbs)Carrying - RarelyPushing - RarelyPulling - RarelyBalancing - RarelyStooping - RarelyKneeling - RarelyCrouching - RarelyCrawling - RarelyReaching - OccasionallyHandling - OccasionallyGrasping - OccasionallyFeeling - OccasionallyTalking - FrequentlyHearing - FrequentlyRepetitive Motions - FrequentlyEye/Hand/Foot Coordination - Occasionally
