The Document Management Analyst I - Publishing shall be responsible for Replicating/Publishing of NRC documents to the public website and performing database maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process all documents submitted in electronic form under the NRC Electronic Information Exchange initiative in accordance with the DPC SOP manual
  • Search templates that have been configured to assist with staging and publishing documents
  • Perform quality control for rejection of documents
  • Confirm searches to stage documents ready to be published
  • Publish documents to recent released folder
  • Perform database maintenance
  • Create new values to document list
  • Provide statistics of daily tasks
  • Performing routine maintenance and update activities on DPC scanning hardware and software applications
  • Work in coordination with NRC network infrastructure technical staff to support DPC scanning software applications
  • Providing various levels of scanning services:
  • For simple scanning, scan documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requestor
  • Normal scanning is performed on paper documents that are received for regular processing
  • For expedited scanning, scan documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requestor within 4 hours from the time of receipt
  • For complex scanning services, scan portions of documents and packages with electronic portions of the document
  • Create up to 5,000 scanned images from paper documents received from the DCD or the NRC staff each work day
  • Process e-RIDS in accordance of contract requirements;
  • Code and file documents in an extensive alphabetical file,
  • Assist with publishing publicly available documents/packages to the agency’s public web site.
  • Assist with publishing a minimum of 380 documents/packages to the agency’s web site daily, in accordance with DPC SOP manual.
  • Open and run mail through metering machines, and calculate and post charges to departmental accounts.
  • Assist with additional projects involving scanning, copying and/or printing multiple types of documents.
  • Performs other clerical work as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a production control operation, supporting document production organization or similar is preferred.
  • Active Secret Clearance, Preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to obtain a DOE IT Level I clearance.
  • US Military/ Federal Government experience, preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Acrobat.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
