Position Title: Hardware Test Engineer 2

Location: Redmond WA, Onsite
Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Type: Contract and Onsite
Pay Range: $35/hr. - $40/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with image processing and/or image quality testing related working experience for consumer devices.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Good programming/scripting skills on C#, Python, Shell script and/or MATLAB.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands on testing experience in the lab.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Test Engineer 2 - Design verification activities to design quality into our products. Activities include develop and execution test plans and procedures.
  • Perform functional, stress, system, and other types of testing.
  • Identification of test tool requirements, and participation in specification and design reviews.
  • Must be able to execute tests with little to no supervision.
  • Find complex bugs, root cause and track them while recording and informing others of all appropriate and relevant info.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of image processing and/or image quality testing related working experience for consumer devices.
  • Working knowledge with high-speed electrical interfaces, low-speed serial control interfaces and power consumption testing
  • Experience using high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers and function generators
  • Knowledge of image quality metrics and test methods on noise, sharpness, distortion, color fidelity, 3A, etc. Understand how they relate to camera performance.
  • Good programming/scripting skills on C#, Python, Shell script and/or MATLAB.
  • Familiar with Imatest, Skype and other standard camera test/analysis tools are a plus.
  • Knowledge in common low speed electrical interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI) is big plus
  • Good skills on data analysis and reporting. Good at writing test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports.
Education
  • BS or MS on Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Imaging Science, Physics, or equivalent.
