Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial information that is required for internal and external reporting, fiscal planning, and special project evaluations. Senior Accountant Job Description: Prepare financial and managerial reports and develop supporting documentation. Provide analysis and summaries of financial statements. Verify and review general ledger activity. Investigate, correct, and follow-up on any inaccuracies identified. Prepare month-end journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements including more complex accounts. Enter and maintain transaction information for planning and project activity. Assist with the design and implementation of policies and procedures and ensure adherence to accepted accounting principles. Senior Accountant Requirements: 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis with competency in financial reporting, bank reconciliation and general ledger accounting - Required Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business - Required Financial reporting systems experience within Oracle – Preferred Demonstrated proficiency in computers and software. Proficiency in Excel. Demonstrated experience and understanding of financial reporting and analysis applications.
