Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance and oversight of the comprehensive corporate Information Governance Program for all physical and electronic records. The Analyst I handles entry level assignments and receives direction from leader and/or teammates.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Understands and assists with development, planning, administration, coordination, and implementation all aspects of Information Governance Program
Assists with development and maintenance of Information Governance policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and schedules
Pursues continuing education in Information Governance field, including technologies, best practices and standards, and legal requirements
Collaborates with both corporate-based departments and field offices to achieve consistent Information Governance practices
Travels to provide support for field offices
Travels to attend educational events and conferences
Develops and delivers training regarding Information Governance policies, procedures, and standards
Understands and assists with implementing Information Governance security policies
Applies legal holds and document production orders and manages eDiscovery processes
Performs searches in digital repositories for missing information
Administrates systems related to Information Governance, including Microsoft Purview and Gimmal Physical
Fulfills requests for physical records including boxes and files
Maintains repository for physical records, including customer service for users
Handles boxes and files, including transportation and third-party shipping
Supports implementation of new software and digital solutions
Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience
Entry level experience
Ability to assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Governance programs for physical and electronic records
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to be completed in a timely and accurate manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of Information Governance standards and best practices, as well as knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Ability to creatively identify and solve problems
Experience in managing projects
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to work collaboratively within a medium-sized organization

Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Library Science, Information Governance, Project Management, or related field of study
1+ years of related experience
Experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365
Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
Understanding of records retention requirements and best practices
Experience with imaging technology and digital preservation processes
Experience with developing and delivering training
Experience with supporting legal operations and/or offices, including e-discovery
