Look no further - Pharmaron is thrilled to invite you to join us as our newest IT Manager If you're craving a role that offers challenges, growth, and meaningful impact, then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.This role will be based onsite in our New Jersey office supporting around 50 employees as part of the wider Pharmaron team of approx 900 employees.Job Overview:Collaborating with the IT teams in global sites, the IT Manager will make the best of existing IT resources to support our day-to-day work, design and implement solutions and upgrades to accelerate our long-term business growth in the US. You'll have the opportunity to provide IT training to colleagues for IT policies, software and hardware usage as well as being the point of contact for IT systems/resources, planning annual budgets and implementing upgrades of IT resources.In addition:Maintaining the systems and manage accounts/permissions for the US employees in Active Directory, share folders and application systems and maintain IT facilities such as Wi-Fi, electronic locks, phone systems etcIT vendor management, find most suitable vendors and manage them to ensure that they're offering the best-possible serviceDevelop and execute IT disaster plan and maintain data backups.Create, update and maintain IT related documentation. For example: asset book, contracts, CMDB, IT policies, work reports etc.Managing the process of onboarding/offboarding employeesProviding general helpdesk support to colleagues in the office or remotely if neededWhat We're Looking For:We're seeking individuals who demonstrate a passion for science, IT and a creative and analytical mindset to join our team:Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science5+ years of senior IT support and project experience in international companies.Experience on Virtualization (Hyper-V) technology, Windows Servers and Active Directory as well as experience with network infrastructure and hardware.Experience as a leader in IT activities such as office constructions, customer audits, inventory check etc.CRO company experience is desiredWhy Pharmaron?Pharmaron stands as a leading force in the life sciences industry, offering premier R&D services to partners across the globe.
