CMG Financial is looking to hire a couple of Mortgage Warehouse Lending Support Specialist (Onsite San Ramon, CA) who will be responsible for maximizing the mortgage warehouse workflow to insure that deadlines are met and the wires are properly sent from the warehouse lender in support of the production needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mortgage Warehouse Lending Support Specialist serves as a resource for staff members in relation to warehouse and wire questions.
- Maintains current knowledge of all Policies and Procedures as they relate to loan closing.
- Provides prompt and quality service to all employees and customers.
- Presents operational workflow problems to manager.
- Creates the Reconciliation Report daily.
- Creates and oversees the trade/sale of fundings with investor.
- Serves as the main contact between the warehouse bank and corporate office to ensure that any problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Coordinates the wire fundings to make sure that the timelines are met daily.
- Must be able to formulate and generate monthly reports relating to the warehouse process and timing.
- Ad hoc reports as required.
- Five years mortgage industry experience with at least two years in the Secondary Marketing department.
- Two years of funding, closing and product knowledge a plus.
- Requires proficiency in the use of Excel spreadsheet functions, including: pivot tables, complex formulas, and creating charts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Outlook, etc.
- Must have excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and customer service skills are essential.
- Experience as a financial analyst or other accounting function preferred.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
Base Compensation Information CMG pays a competitive base which ranges from $25/hour to $29/hour Factors that affect base salary may include: Number of years worked in the mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
