Senior Technical Project Manager - Medical Development Embedded Development Job Summary: The Senior Technical Project Manager oversees and ensures the successful execution of complex technical projects within the medical development and embedded development space. This individual will leverage their strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and project management experience to drive projects from initiation to completion, meeting project objectives, timelines, and budgets. Key Responsibilities: 1 Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones. 2 Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. 3 Track project progress and identify potential risks and obstacles proactively. 4 Implement mitigation strategies to ensure the project remains on track. 5 Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Team Leadership and Collaboration: 1. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. 2. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between team members, stakeholders, and external partners. 3 Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during project execution. 4 Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support to fulfill their roles. Technical Expertise: 1. Demonstrate a deep understanding of medical development and embedded development processes and technologies. 2. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. 3. Review technical deliverables and ensure they meet quality standards. 4. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Stakeholder Management: 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. 2. Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders. 3 Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Organizational Excellence: 1 Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 2 Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently. 3 Maintain accurate project documentation and records. 4 Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: 1 7+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on medical development and embedded development projects. 2 Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget. 3 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 4 Excellent organizational and time management skills. 5 Deep understanding of medical device development regulations and quality standards. 6 Proficiency in project management tools and software. Certifications: PMP or other project management certifications preferred. Additional Skills: 1 Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. 2 Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 3 Decision-making: Ability to make sound decisions based on available information and project goals.
