Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a unique blend of loan processing expertise and contractor recruitment experience to oversee construction, development, and lending-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strong organizational skills, and hands-on experience managing project pipelines from acquisition to completion.

This role requires an individual who can manage construction timelines, process loans and recruit and coordinate subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Project Manager will work closely with sub contractors, lenders, and clients to align project goals with organizational objectives, streamline workflows, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Process and manage loan applications, including document collection, underwriting coordination, and closing preparation for construction loans.
  • Recruit, vet, and manage subcontractors across multiple trades — ensuring compliance, quality control, and timely performance.
  • Oversee vendor management and contract negotiations to secure materials, labor, and services.
  • Prepare progress reports, financial summaries, and stakeholder updates to maintain full transparency.
  • Coordinate with lending institutions, appraisers, inspectors, and closing agents to ensure successful project funding and completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including loan files, contractor agreements, project plans, and compliance records.

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of experience in project management, preferably within real estate, construction, or development.
  • Experience as a loan processor, mortgage coordinator, or funding specialist (construction loan experience preferred) helpful.
  • Strong background in recruiting and managing subcontractors and vendors helpful.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, and GHL.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with permits, contracts, and compliance.
