You will:
  • Have experience managing a team of software developers.
  • Coordinate with the offshore team in India and design and develop high-quality Java applications.
You have:
  • 9+ years' experience in Information Technology, at least 7 years of professional experience in Java development.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, testing and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Java applications.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Overall, 9 +years of IT experience
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating with an offshore development team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java SE/EE.
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Quarkus.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Development experience with Java/J2EE, XML, JS, Node.js, Web Services, REST services, unit testing.
  • Java experience with back-end / server-side technologies required.
  • Experience working with SOA and microservices, environment Kafka.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM technologies.
  • Proficient in version control tools such as Git, build management tools like Maven and deployment using Dockers.
  • Have worked in Linux environment with experience using Bash.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Offshore coordination and client interactions
Desired skills:
  • Experience in UI Technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript (TypeScript, Express, RxJS), Python, C
Soft Skills:
  • Communicate internally with teams and also externally with the client.
  • Address problems before they happen
