Operates forklifts to move and retrieve modular buildings, containers, tanks, and large, heavy equipment. Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials. Documents location of equipment. May update electronic tracking systems. What Youll Do Operate forklifts to move and retrieve modular buildings, containers, tanks and large, heavy equipment Operate forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials Document location of equipment Update electronic equipment tracking systems Ensure equipment is in proper working order and documents inspections of equipment; reports discrepancies Maintain daily inspection log(s) for equipment and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment receives periodic maintenance Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for role Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Fill and deliver material vouchers to production crews Other duties as assigned Must Haves Able to work outside in variable weather conditions Ability to follow spoken and written instruction Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Companys safety policies and procedures Prior experience in related work required Valid drivers license required Possess and maintain current certification in the operations of required forklift and related equipment Special Considerations: Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities The specific pay rate and level, if applicable, will depend on the successful candidates qualifications, prior experience and location.
